The company said the revised method more closely matches similar services. They have suggested members to review their products and update the measurements by hand if necessary, which has left users frustrated. Size Classification Updates Before the change, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10. The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10. With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18. User Accounts One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling". "Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates. Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22. "Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she said. Manual Updates A different user, located in England, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products". "For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she said.
